Post-Panamax container vessel Maersk Tema was boarded by pirates while underway off the coast of West Africa on Friday, February 14.
Pirates have reportedly attacked a container vessel named Maersk Tema at 200 nautical miles, South West Bonny on Valentine’s Day while the vessel was on it way from Point Noir to Lagos.
CONTRARY to media reports, world’s largest container carrier, Maersk and its sister company Safmarine have denied stopping their shipping services to the ports in Lagos.
